|
|
Aresty is serious about diving. When she isn't diving at Wayland, Wayland Swim and Tennis Club, or Boston Area Diving, she uses her time to teach children to dive. The sophomore put her skills to good work finishing fourth at the league championships, second at the North Sectionals, and second at the Division 2 state championships to help the Warriors to a second-place finish. A high honor roll student, Aresty enjoys spending time at Camp Micah and lists her interests as sports, animals, and spending time with her friends. |

There isn't a whole lot Waresmith hasn't won in her two years diving. After winning a state championship as a freshman, she came back and was undefeated in dual meets this season and earned her second All-Scholastic nod. She capped off her sensational sophomore year by defending her state championship, winning the Division 1 state title with a score of 497.55. She is also a five-time national qualifier. She trains and dives under coach Joe Chirico at Boston Area Diving and enjoys music and movies. Despite being a sophomore, the honor roll student already has her eyes on the University of Texas, Miami, and Florida State. |
