Hello Coaches and Athletes,

 

     Our diving team, Eisenhower Park, and parents are having an invitational dive meet on May 5th, 2007 called the “Cinco de Mayo Invitational.”  All are welcomed to attend and the meet should turn out to be a good, fun, competitive meet.  The meet will be short and customized.  Events will run together. Coaches that will be attending, should email me their divers name, age, and dives according to the criteria below. Diving information should be emailed before May 3rd 2007. In the subject area of your email, please indicate "Cinco de Mayo Invitational".Should you want to bring your team, here are the criterias of the meet:

 

Meet: “2007 Cinco de Mayo Invitational”

Where: Eisenhower Park Pool, East Meadow, NY

Date: May 5th, 2007, Saturday, Warm - ups start at 7:00am - 8:30am

Cost of meet:  $25.00 for 1 event, $40.00 for 2 events.

                         (make checks out to Long Island Divers)

                         Late fee is $10.00.

Meet Type:      AAU (All divers must be a member of AAU.)

Facility: 2 – 3meter diving boards on concrete stands.

              2 – 1meter diving boards on concrete stands.

              Towers 1, 3, 5, 7.5, 10 meters.

 

Criterias of the meet:

:$500.00 to the first place team and a trophy.

:1st, 2nd, 3rd,  place trophies and prizes.

:Medals to the top 5 places in each category.

:Prizes and raffles for coaches.

 

Age groups and dives (girls / boys): May repeat group, but not dive in all ages!

:7 – 8        Novice – 3 dives (3 different dives: Jumps, entries, can be used.)                  

:9 – under Novice – 3 dives (4 different dives: Jumps, entries, can be used.)

:10-11       Novice – 4 dives (4 different dives: Jumps, entries, can be used.)

:12-13       Novice – 4 dives (4 different dives: Jumps, entries, can be used.)

:14-18       Novice – 5 dives (5 different dives: Jumps, entries, can be used.)

 

Age groups and dives (JO(girls / boys)):

:7 – 8             JO – 1m, 3m (3 different dives),

                               (2 dives from diff. groups: dd not to exceed 4.6)

                               (1 dive from any group without limit of dd)

:9 – under      JO – 1m, 3m (4 different dives)

                               (3 dives from diff. groups: dd not to exceed 5.4)

                               (1 dive from any group without limit of dd)

:10-11            JO – 1m, 3m (5 different dives)

                               (3 dives from diff groups: dd not to exceed 5.4)

                               (2 dives from different groups without limit of dd)

:12-13            JO – 1m, 3m (5 different dives)

                               (2 voluntary dives from diff groups: dd not to exceed 5.0)

                               (3 dives from different groups without limit of dd)

:14-15            JO – 1m, 3m (5 different dives)

                               (2 voluntary dives from diff groups: dd not to exceed 5.0)

                               (3 dives from different groups without limit of dd)

:16-18            JO – 1m, 3m (6 different dives. No dd limit !!!)     

 

Tower events are JO only:

   9-u     JO  3 different dives from any group (may repeat group, not dive) 5m only

 10-11  JO  5 different dives from any group (may repeat group, not dive) 5m or 7.5 only

 12-13  JO  5 different dives from any group no dd limit.

 14-15  JO  5 different dives from any group no dd limit.

 16-18  JO  5 different dives from any group no dd limit.
